What is manrega yojna?

Manrega Yojna, manrega it is a law (act), which act is passed in 2005. Under this act many governemnt schemes are run. Which guarantees 100 days of work every year for unskilled rural workers to support the development of rural areas. It is called manrega yojna. It is also called Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employement Garantee Act (MGNREGA).

Early Name was NREGA i.e. National Rural Employment Garantee Act.
